Surrey Family and Child Photographer
I’m a family photographer working with families in Hampton Court, Surrey and the surrounding areas. The families I work with all love being outside having fun and want beautiful natural imagery, full of real emotion and real connection. They aren’t looking for lots of posed, everyone looking at the camera shots.
A Mum and daughter shoot in Bushy Park
One of my recent sessions was during the February half-term holidays. I got the opportunity to work with a lovely Mum and her two daughters in Bushy Park.
During our ‘Getting to know you’ session before the shoot, we discussed all the finer details; timings, locations, what to wear and what mum really wanted from her images. I always do my initial consultations in person, it’s important to me that the kids meet me before the day of the shoot. This really helps me begin to capture their imaginations and get to know their personalities, meaning on the day of the shoot I’m not a complete stranger.
It was a gorgeous morning and the light was breath-taking. We’d discussed wardrobe and added a pop of red and a gorgeous patterned coat to inject some colour.
What an amazing time we had, running, laughing, climbing trees, bubbles! It was also just lovely to be able to capture the quiet moments between mum and daughters. Just loved it.
Choosing the very best
Following the shoot the selection and editing was a tough job with so many gorgeous images to choose from. I review all the images from my shoots and select, edit and present the very best. Mum was so happy with the images; she was delighted I’m managed to capture her girls’ characters so perfectly.
I’m currently preparing all the print files to go to the professional lab and framers. I can’t wait to deliver their wonderful memories.
